The Way, the Truth, the Life

The most important question you need to ask yourself is “Do I know Jesus and am I saved?” For we are all going to die and go into eternity and so we need to know for sure where we are going.

The bible tells us that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and as a result we are cut off from Him and we are spiritually lost. The good news is that because of this God sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, to come into this world as a man and die on the cross in our place and for our wrongdoing. This is why John 3:16 says, “everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.”

We have to make the decision to accept God’s forgiveness and mercy through Christ by repenting of our sin and confessing Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:9 says “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

If you want to take this step then pray this prayer: “Dear God, I repent for living without you and for breaking your commandments. I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins and so ask you to forgive me. I confess that Jesus Christ is now my Lord and Saviour and I choose to follow Him for the rest of my life. In His name, amen.”
